A cover band like no other! The Heavy Hitters span decades of all genres and are able to provide hours of solid music for all types of events.
You can expect a high-energy mix of rock, R&B and pop “delivered with stellar musicianship” when The Heavy Hitters take the stage in Washington Park.
The Heavy Hitters started as a way for some well-known musicians from the CT music community to come together, share their love of music and create an opportunity to play with other fantastic musicians in an open-mic setting. Eventually, it was realized that their collective 150+ years of experience left them with hundreds of songs that they could just call out and play – and they played them really well! The band asked themselves, “Why aren’t we taking this on the road?” And that’s exactly what they did!
Led by Heather Joseph on vocals, The Heavy Hitters is a party band with decades of collective experience playing the greatest hits from the 60s thru today. R&B, Funk, Rock and Roll and Top 40.
